Vancouver orchestra’s new flutist is still in high school

Julin Cheung, a 17-year-old flute and piccolo player, surprised the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra with his talent during blind auditions. Despite still being in high school, he secured a position as assistant principal player. Cheung, from Seattle, will join the orchestra after completing Grade 12 in Philadelphia. His impressive debut performance at Sunset Beach showcased his artistry and virtuosity.
