Federal government invests 27 million to support vulnerable residents in Vancouver
The Salvation Army’s Harbour Light project is moving to 130 East Cordova in Vancouver, expanding capacity with 300 units, including shelter spaces, supportive homes, affordable rentals, and correctional beds. The new facility aims to provide emergency shelter, transition facilities, and community programs. Man charged in downtown Vancouver triple stabbing
A suspect, Jeronimo Fuentes, 29, is in custody after being charged with aggravated assault for stabbing a man in downtown Vancouver. The victim, a 32-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Two other stabbings in the area are still under investigation.
