An East Gwillimbury man faces upgraded murder charge after remains confirmed to be missing Markham woman Ying Zhang. The Homicide Unit found the remains in Kirkfield, Kawartha Lakes. Zhang, 57, was last seen on July 25. Changlin Yang, 26, initially charged with kidnapping, now faces second-degree murder and Indignity to Dead Body charges. Police seek witnesses who saw a white Ford van with Ontario plate BZ43851 in Kirkfield on July 25.
