Suspect in Elnaz Hajtamiri kidnapping arrested in U.S. on unrelated charge

A suspect in the kidnapping of Elnaz Hajtamiri was arrested in the U.S. on an unrelated warrant. Deshawn Davis was apprehended in California and may face extradition to Canada. The Ontario Provincial Police are working with U.S. authorities to solve the case and ensure justice for Hajtamiri. Davis was on Canada’s most wanted list, and Hajtamiri was forcibly taken from her home in January 2022.

Man appears in court after intense gunfire in DDO

Chilliwack Highway 1 crash leaves mother, child dead
