U2’s The Edge becomes Irish citizen after more than 60 years

U2 guitarist The Edge, born in England to Welsh parents, becomes an Irish citizen in County Kerry ceremony. The 63-year-old, living in Ireland since childhood, expressed joy at the event, joining 7,500 others in gaining Irish citizenship.
