Construction has begun on the Woodbine GO Station in Etobicoke, announced by Premier Doug Ford. The station will provide two-way all-day GO service, connecting the Kitchener Line to Pearson Airport and the UP Express. Woodbine Entertainment will contribute $170 million. The station aims to accommodate future growth and serve 7,000 daily riders by 2041, creating new homes and jobs in the community.
