A Sturgeon Falls man fined and suspended from hunting for illegally killing and abandoning a moose in northern Ontario. Robert Thibeault fined $500 for hunting without a license and $4,000 for abandoning wildlife, with a three-year hunting suspension. Incident in October 2023 near Ontario-Quebec border, discovered after tip to Ministry of Natural Resources TIPS line. Lengthy investigation led to charges.
