The Boston Bruins signed defenseman Henri Jokiharju to a three-year contract, forward John Beecher to a one-year contract, and goaltender Michael DiPietro to a two-year contract. Jokiharju had 10 points in 60 games last season, Beecher had 11 points in 78 games, and DiPietro excelled in the AHL. Jokiharju and Beecher were drafted by Boston, while DiPietro was originally selected by Vancouver.
