Carolina Hurricanes sign goaltender Cayden Primeau to a one-year contract worth $775,000 for the 2025-26 season. Primeau, son of former Hurricanes captain Keith Primeau, was acquired from the Montreal Canadiens. He has NHL and AHL experience, winning the 2025 Harry Holmes Memorial Award. Primeau was named to AHL All-Rookie and All-Star Teams and has represented the United States in international competitions.
