The Winnipeg Jets sign forward Tanner Pearson to a one-year contract worth $1,000,000. Pearson, 32, had 27 points with the Vegas Golden Knights last season and won the Stanley Cup in 2014 with the Los Angeles Kings. He has played 722 NHL games and recorded 312 points. Pearson played junior hockey with the Barrie Colts alongside Jets’ Mark Scheifele.
