B.C. Premier David Eby confirmed three miners are trapped underground at the Red Chris mine near Dease Lake, B.C. Two are from B.C. and one from Ontario. They are reportedly uninjured and in a refuge area. Newmont Corp. is coordinating rescue efforts after two ground falls blocked access, activating emergency protocols to ensure their safety.
