Jerome Blake set a new Canadian track and field championship record, winning the men’s 200-metre title in 19.95 seconds. He surpassed the previous record of 19.96 seconds held by teammate Brendon Rodney. Aaron Brown and Eliezer Adjibi placed second and third. Both Blake and Brown qualified for the upcoming world championships in Tokyo.
