An Ontario court has approved the sale of Toronto’s El Mocambo music venue to a buyer, Cyrus Madon, who plans to continue its operation. The sale follows former owner Michael Wekerle’s default on $55.6 million in debt. Ernst & Young facilitated the sale process, receiving three offers, with the deal expected to close within a month.
