Roy Albert Whitney, chief of Tsuut’ina Nation, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault related to incidents from 1994 and 2005 in Edmonton. Whitney denies the allegations, asserting they are false. Edmonton police encourage other potential victims to come forward as investigations continue. Whitney has served as chief multiple times since 1984.
