OpenAI announced its GPT-5 AI model, but Apple confirmed it won’t be integrated into its systems until iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe 26. Currently, Apple uses GPT-4o for Siri and Visual Intelligence. GPT-5 is available to all ChatGPT users, with OpenAI reporting around 700 million weekly users.
