An evacuation order has been issued for the Paddy’s Pond Industrial area due to a fast-moving fire. The Trans Canada Highway westbound is closed. Premier John Hogan reported that the fire, which started near the pole line, poses a potential risk to power lines. The RNC urges the public to stay away to facilitate firefighting efforts.
