Lytton, B.C., reached 40°C on September 2, tying it with three other Canadian locations for the hottest September temperature on record. This follows a history of extreme heat in the village, which previously recorded 41.3°C in August. Despite not breaking the record, Lytton continues to be one of Canada’s hottest places.
