Bernie Parent, a legendary NHL goaltender, won two Vezina Trophies and led the Flyers to consecutive Stanley Cup victories in 1974 and 1975. His career ended abruptly in 1979 due to a severe eye injury. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984, he later served as a goaltending coach and ambassador for the Flyers, remaining a beloved figure in Philadelphia.
