A man involved in a serious accident on Veterans Memorial Highway sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The crash caused extensive damage and closed the road for several hours. Police reopened the highway by 8:30 PM after emergency responders attended to the scene. The driver reported minor head injuries but is otherwise fine.
