Police lay kidnapping charge as search for missing Ontario woman continues
York Regional Police have charged Changlin Yang, 26, with kidnapping, forcible confinement, and aggravated assault in connection with the disappearance of Ontario woman Ying Zhang. Zhang, last seen on July 25, remains missing. Witnesses reported hearing screams from the HoliBalance Wellness Centre where Zhang was last seen. Police are seeking information on a white van and a suspect with a green wheeled bin. Zhang is described as 5’7″ with black and grey hair, last seen in blue scrubs and a jade bracelet. Suspect charged in alleged kidnapping of woman who remains missing
York Regional Police have charged Changlin Yang, 26, in connection with the suspected kidnapping of Ying Zhang, 57, who went missing on July 25 in Markham. Zhang was last seen at a wellness centre, and a suspect was seen with a green bin near a white Ford van. Police are investigating the relationship between the two and are unsure of Zhang’s condition.
