The Daily Dive Global News Quiz is an online quiz aimed at testing participants’ knowledge of current affairs, global and local news, business, technology, and general knowledge. The quiz is based on news content available on the Daily Dive app and is organized by DodoBits LLP. Participants will earn a verifiable digital certificate from Daily Dive Canada, which can be showcased on LinkedIn, resumes, and professional portfolios.

Eligibility:
- Open to students, professionals, and news enthusiasts worldwide.
- Participants must create an account on the Daily Dive app to take the quiz.
- One account per participant is allowed to avoid duplicate entries.
- Inter-college/inter-specialization teams are not allowed; this is an individual competition.
Format & Process:
- Mode: Online (via Daily Dive app)
- Number of Questions: 20–30 multiple-choice questions based on current news stories.
- Duration: 20–30 minutes per participant.
- Rounds: Single round. Leaderboard updated in real-time.
- Participants answer questions based on news articles on the app, encouraging reading and comprehension.
- Evaluation: Automatic scoring; top scorers highlighted on the leaderboard.
Rules:
- Participants must use their registered Daily Dive account to take the quiz.
- No team participation; all entries must be individual.
- Participants must not use external assistance (friends, internet search) during the quiz.
- Duplicate or suspicious entries will be disqualified.
- Certificates are awarded to all participants; Certificates of Excellence go to top performers.
- The unique ID generated in the Daily Dive app will be used to verify entries and prevent duplicates.
