An 18-year-old from London, Ont., drowned at Ipperwash Beach in Lake Huron. Ontario Provincial Police responded to two swimmers in distress, with the 18-year-old found unresponsive and pronounced dead. The second swimmer, a 12-year-old, was safely rescued. The investigation is ongoing.
