The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has expanded a recall of 67 types of salami and soppressata due to possible Salmonella contamination. Affected products were sold in several provinces, with 86 reported illnesses, including nine hospitalizations. Salmonella can cause severe infections, particularly in vulnerable populations.
