Residents near Princeton, B.C., are under evacuation orders due to the out-of-control August Lake Wildfire, currently about 10 hectares in size. Mayor Spencer Coyne reported the blaze, located approximately six kilometers from town. Evacuated areas include south of Highway 3 and the Princeton Golf Club. An evacuation alert is also in place for nearby regions.
