Evacuation orders expanded for nearly 200 properties near the Wesley Ridge wildfire northwest of Nanaimo, B.C., which covers 245 hectares. Poor air quality persists across the province due to multiple wildfires. The Cantilever Bar wildfire has also prompted evacuations in Lytton. Campers are advised to avoid Harrison Lake due to road closures from the Bear Creek wildfire.
