Residents of Salmon Cove and Ochre Pit Cove are ordered to evacuate due to wildfires threatening the area. The Kingston fire has grown to 2,175 hectares, while the Holyrood fire remains at 22 hectares. Ottawa is sending military and humanitarian aid. Evacuation orders are also in place for several other communities as conditions remain critical.
