A 55-year-old music professor, Oleg Pokhanovski, has been charged with sexual assault and exploitation of a former teenage student at the University of Manitoba. The incidents occurred between 2007 and 2010, with grooming and assaults happening off campus. Pokhanovski turned himself in on July 29 and is currently on leave from the university.
