Belinda Sarkodie, 26, was fatally shot in downtown Hamilton on July 11, 2025, while returning home from a friend’s visit. Police believe she was an innocent bystander, with the intended target being a male victim who survived. The suspect, a white male, fled the scene. Sarkodie had recently moved to Canada from Ghana.
