The Canadian government has updated the eligible fields of study for Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWP), adding 119 new programs and removing 178. International students in non-degree programs who applied for study permits after November 1, 2024, are affected. Notable changes include new eligibility for programs in Healthcare, Education, and Trades, while programs in Transport have been removed. Language proficiency requirements also apply for PGWP eligibility.
