The Canadian government and FBI warn of China-backed hacking group Salt Typhoon targeting Canadian telecom companies, manipulating routers for data collection. Salt Typhoon also targeted US firms and is preparing for a potential invasion of Taiwan by 2027. The hackers are expected to continue targeting Canadian organizations for the next two years.
