MLB players De La Cruz and Thornton fell ill due to soaring temperatures during games in Cincinnati and Seattle. De La Cruz vomited but continued to hit a two-run home run, while Thornton needed medical attention for heat exhaustion. Umpire and staff also fell ill. Heat-related issues expected to continue in the US.
