A hitman convicted of first-degree murder for shooting Kristijan Coric at a Surrey gas station in 2019 has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for 25 years. The judge described the murder as cold-blooded and calculated, stating it was a paid contracted killing. The hitman, Carlos Nathaniel Monteith, maintained his innocence but had a criminal record with multiple convictions.
