Over 140 hotel workers at Sheraton Vancouver Guildford hotel in Surrey went on strike due to lack of contract since April 2024. Union members rejected a tentative agreement, demanding better wages for facing high living costs. Pacific Reach Properties, the hotel owner, remains optimistic about reaching an agreement.
