US crude oil inventories rose by 3.8 million barrels to 419 million barrels, below the five-year average. Prices increased ahead of the report, with Brent at $67.73 per barrel and WTI at $66.11. Gasoline inventories increased by 4.2 million barrels, while distillate inventories fell by 1.7 million barrels. Total products supplied decreased by 1.1% compared to last year.
