Baklava pastries containing pistachios are being recalled in Canada due to salmonella concerns. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reported that 52 people fell ill, with nine hospitalized. Most affected products were sold in Montreal between June 25 and July 26. Further cases are expected as investigations continue into the outbreak linked to contaminated pistachios.
