Starting August 15, B.C. will no longer require “OK” decals for battery-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles to access HOV lanes. This change simplifies usage for EV owners, eliminates long wait times for decals, and allows out-of-province EVs to use HOV lanes. The move is expected to save $70,000 annually in administrative costs.
