Canada’s first beach cleaning robot, ‘BeBot’, has been introduced at Lake Simcoe. The remote-operated sand-sifting robot aims to remove debris like plastic, glass, metal, and paper from beaches to prevent pollution in the Great Lakes. The initiative is part of the Great Lakes Plastic Cleanup project, supported by Pollution Probe and Unsmoke Canada.
