Erik Menendez has been hospitalized with a “serious medical condition,” reportedly a kidney issue, according to his lawyer. He was transferred from a San Diego prison ahead of a parole hearing scheduled for August 21. Menendez and his brother Lyle, resentenced to 50 years to life, have been incarcerated for 35 years for their parents’ murders.
