Gen Z, born between 1997 and 2012, are drinking more alcohol as cost of living pressures ease, contrary to prior data. A study by IWSR Bevtrac found 73% of Gen Zers aged 21-27 had consumed alcohol in the past six months, up from 66% two years prior. This increase is attributed to more disposable income. Millennials and Gen Xers still top the list for alcohol consumption.
