The St. Louis Blues placed defenseman Nick Leddy on waivers in hopes of finding him a new team for more playing time. Leddy has one year left on his $4 million contract and has played over 1,000 NHL games, winning a Stanley Cup in 2013. If claimed, the Blues would clear his salary off their books.
