Zdeno Chara, Joe Thornton, Duncan Keith, and Alexander Mogilny were elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Chara, Keith, and Thornton were elected in their first year of eligibility. Two female players and two builders were also inducted. Chara, Thornton, and Keith had impressive careers and received high praise for their contributions to the sport.
