The Utah Mammoth have agreed to trade for winger JJ Peterka from the Buffalo Sabres. Peterka signed a five-year extension with a $7.7 million cap hit. In return, the Sabres receive defenseman Michael Kesselring and winger Josh Doan. The trade bolsters Utah’s offense and improves Buffalo’s right defense depth. Peterka was a top target and had a strong season with 68 points.
