An unreleased version of Cervélo’s R5 climbing bike was spotted at the 2025 Tour de France. The new R5 focuses on weight savings and ride quality, aiming to hit the UCI’s 6.8kg limit. Matteo Jorgenson’s bike weighed 7.03kg with mid-depth wheels and SRAM Red AXS groupset. The bike features a one-piece cockpit and slimmed-down frame components. Jorgenson’s setup includes 165mm cranks and a Garmin Edge 130 bike computer.
