Marcus Stroman has been released by the New York Yankees after a disappointing season, posting a 6.23 ERA in nine starts. The 34-year-old righty, a two-time All-Star, had a two-year, $37 million deal with the Yankees. Over his 11-year career, he has a record of 90-87 with a 3.79 ERA.
