Canada’s Summer McIntosh won gold in the women’s 400m freestyle at the swimming world championships in Singapore, aiming for five individual golds. She clocked 3:56.26, extending her career gold total to five. McIntosh, 18, tied for the most medals by a Canadian swimmer. She also qualified first in the 200m individual medley shortly after her victory.
