The Toronto Maple Leafs trade a conditional 2027 third-round pick to the Utah Mammoth for Finnish forward Matias Maccelli. If Maccelli reaches certain performance milestones, the pick could become a 2029 second-rounder. The Leafs also signed RFA Matthew Knies to a six-year contract and John Tavares to a four-year deal. Maccelli has a strong prospect background and impressive AHL stats.
