T-Mobile and Starlink’s T-Satellite service, launching July 23, will provide direct-to-cell messaging using 657 Starlink satellites. It aims to eliminate mobile dead zones, offering SMS, MMS, and data support for $10/month. Emergency texting will be free. Compatible with recent iPhone and Android models, expanding to more devices. Verizon and AT&T customers can activate T-Satellite as a second eSIM. Beta testing ongoing.
