The BC Wildfire Service is responding to two wildfires on Vancouver Island. One in Carmel Creek is being held at 0.76 hectares, while another near Ivanhoe Creek is out-of-control, growing to 0.38 hectares. Both fires are believed to be human-caused, and investigations are ongoing.
