A ferry, the Harbour Princess, ran aground near West Vancouver, prompting a mayday call. One person was airlifted to BC Ambulance Service, while another sustained minor injuries. Emergency services, including a Coast Guard aircraft, responded. The ferry was later escorted back to Vancouver’s harbour. The number of passengers on board was not disclosed.
