Hiker Dallin Beaumier became stranded near Della Falls after his car broke down. Using ingenuity and spare parts, he fashioned a wagon to transport supplies over rough terrain. After four days, he returned to the trailhead, unaware a search was underway. Rescuers praised his preparedness and survival skills, and he plans to return to Vancouver Island for more adventures.
